Me- thods: 90 cases of Prurigo nodularis patients and 90 healthy controls were selected in the investi- gation. The total serum IgE were measured by Direct chemiluminescence method. The serum MAO were measured by Continuous monitoring method. Results: The levels of total serum IgE in Pruri- go nodularis patients were significantly higher than those in healthy controls (P 0.05). The levels of serum MAO in Prurigo nodularis patients were significantly higher than those in healthy con- trols (P 0.01). Conclusion: Serum IgE, MAO may play a part of role in the pathogenesis of Prurigo nodularis, and the results provide the science views for clinical diagno
