M6 Unit 3 Grammar and Usage 高二英语第六模块虚拟语气的教案设计 ( Unreal conditionals of the present and past ) 江苏省海州高级中学 何浩 教案背景: 面向学生:高二 课时:1 教学课题: Teaching Objectives: 1. Enable the students to understand the situations of using unreal conditionals of the present and past. ( the unreal conditionals of future will be left to the second period of time as it also involves the phenomenon of inversion of sentence structure. Hence , it might be too complicated to teach the students all about them in only one class) 2. Make students understand and master different structures of unreal conditionals. 3. Encourage students to make use of unreal conditionals to make up stories or sentences to experience this new grammar phenomenon. 教学难点 Teaching Important and Difficult Points: Learn when and how to use unreal conditionals correctly. 学情分析 Students might find it hard to understand the words connected with grammar. If the teacher focuses on explaining what the patterns for unreal conditionals mean ,students might find them even harder to understand . 教学方法: Teaching Approaches: Offering enough language input (including listening materials in which an expert is trying to explain “second conditionals”, making students experience unreal conditionals used in the real situations. Helping students find out different structures of unreal conditionals of the present and past. Make students conclude them. Set interesting situations to make students practice – realizing the “output” of language. Teaching Aids: The multimedia, the computer and the blackboard 教学流程 Teaching Procedures: Step I Lead-in Ask the students : What’s the date today? ( Dec. 23th ) What festival will it be in a couple of days in the western countries? ( Christmas Day ) Do you wish to get my gifts today? Show on the screen: Christmas is coming ! 1.
