英语学习学期总结 英语学习学期总结(一)：英语学期期末总结 　　at the beginning of my essay,id like to give my gratitude to my english teacher.with the help of her,my listening skill has improved a lot after this semester’s learning.however,knowledge is infinite and there are still a lot for me to learn.here are some lessons i have drew from past. 　　firstly,not only should i improve my short memory but also find good methods of listening.in the past, i knew the importance of dictation but it was a hard part for me ,and i supposed that trying best to write down all the words correctly and completely i had listened at once was a good way. but in fact , i could not make it in this way because my pen can?t catch up with the speaking speed of the people. now i find that what i?ve down was stupid. i just need to write down some key words to help me remember what the people say in record.so i really need to improve my short memory.besides this, owning good listening skills needs not only a long time of 　　practice, but also some good methods. it is hard and no need to write all words as identical as the original text. for dictation, we just need to give the similar words which have the same ideas as the original text. 　　secondly, it’s necessary to scan the options before listening 　　them .maybe you can predict what the speaker will say and infer the questions . actually,i used to think that its stupid to do this.but 　　gradually i realize that reading the options in ahead is essential for listening comprehension. whats more,knowing some information in advance may be very helpful for understanding the listening and reacting quickly to the exercises. 　　thirdly,we should concentrate on the listening and never be 　　absent-minded.i believe that most of us have such experience that we even don’t know what has been said although the passage is ended.so how did it happen? i always thought that it would be 　　useful to concentrate only on the key words of the questions when i did long passages. but i always waited
