With the global aviation and land transport network, FedEx is able to deliver time-critical shipments within the possibly shortest time and ensure on-time delivery. In a survey made by “Fortune” magazine in March 2014, FedEx was selected as one of Worlds Most Admired Companies, ranked eighth, and ranked first in the transportation industry at the same time. So successful is the enterprise today, however, in the early seventies of last century, FedEx suffered a huge crisis due to poor management. Faced with the crisis, Chairman Fred Smith made every effort to develop the market for customers.
