Beijing 2022 Bid Committee Addresses at Beijing Sport University: We are Capable of Hosting Olympic Winter Games Xinhuanet, Beijing, 26 November (Reported by Su Bin and Wang Yong) Why are we bidding for the Olympic Winter Games? In the conference hall of Beijing Sport University on 26 November, teachers and students experienced at first hand the charm of the Olympic Winter Games through the elaborations of officials from the Beijing 2022 Olympic Winter Games Bid Committee (Bid Committee), experts and athletes. The promotional address on the bid for the Olympic Winter Games themed “Joyful Rendezvous upon Pure Ice and Snow” kicked off at the first stop, Beijing Sport University. Wang Hui, Director of the Publicity Department of the Bid Committee; Yi Jiandong, Deputy Director of the General Planning and Legal Affairs Department of the Bid Committee; and Li Nina, world freestyle-skiing aerials champion, were members of the promotional address delegation. They introduced to the teachers and students the bid for the Olympic Winter Games and the latest reform topics of the International Olympic Committee (IOC).
