Why do we need pets? First guess:a kind of social animal Human is a kind of social animal for thousands of years When we lived in caves ,we could eat and sleep in large group.Besides,at that time we didnt need to cheat others. In summary,at that time ,we were close to each other not only physically but also mentally,so we never feel lonely. First guess:a kind of social animal Gradually,our houses were becoming taller and taller, our home ranges were becoming larger and larger ,our steps were becoming quicker and quicker. Nowdays,even we are neighbors,we may not be able to have more contact. First guess:a kind of social animal As a kind of social animal,we are sure to feel lonely and anxious.Then we need have one to accompany us. Not able to speak and can act as an individual,pets are becoming parts of our lives. Second guess:spiritual fulfilment This guess has two aspects,conquest and enjoyment. Firstly,with the development of our society,we want to show our power that we can get any thing we want and do any thing we would like. In other word,having pet is a kind of way to conquer other creature,just like wars and hunting. Second guess:spiritual fulfilment Secondly,till now,we have fulfilled our primary need----food and residence. Further,we want to have more enjoyment,such as having a pet. We can share our feelings with pets,though they can just reply us with actions.But thats what we want,rather than any complaint or scold. What kinds do we prefer Usually,women like small pets,which have soft fur and lovely appearance,such as cup poppy. While man prefer strong and a little special pets ，sometimes even dangerous,such as wolf dog.
