1.Marshall: Reformer:邓小平，林肯， 罗斯福，华盛顿， 托马斯·杰弗逊 A case in point is Marshall, the general who initiated the Marshall Plan, a primary plan for America to rebuild and recreate a stronger foundation for countries in Western Europe after the Second World War. The implementation of Marshall Plan can be seen as a success that emerged from the failed policy after WW1. After WW1, America refused to provide financial aid and loans to war-torn countries in Europe for fear that these countries might not be able to pay back the debts. America’s refusal to help recover the war-torn countries made the economic conditions worse in these countries. The poor economic situation in these countries, especially Germany, constituted an important contributing factor to the breaking out of the Second World War. After World War Ⅱ, Marshall immediately learned from the US failed policy towards Europe after WWⅠ and claimed firmly that ‘ if we do not help the war-torn countries especially Japan and German, we will eventually lead the WWⅢ in our hands. 2. Many investors were reluctant to support Yunus’s ambitious plan, fearing /worrying that the financially poor people are unable to pay back the money borrowed from the bank.
