Analysis on the Effect of Part Time-resident Interference
on FH/DS Communication System Synchronization

Abstract: In order to enhance the jamming eficiency to FH/DS communication systems, some new interference methods
have been put forward. However, these new interference methods can interfere only a part of the system during every hop
span of the FH/DS communication system. Therefore, based on the research on FH/DS communication systems, the iniuence
of part time-resident interference on FH/DS communication system synchronization is analyzed in this paper. Computer
simulation and analysis have been made, and the results validate the effectiveness of part time-resident interference under
certain ratio of jamming-to-signal time-resident.
