Make good use of this investigation achievement to launch the plan compilation of forest operation, which is not only to meet the demand of scientific operation management and cultivation for forest resources but also an optimal opportunity to improve current forest resources quality, quantity and performance. Resources investigation found out status quo of forest resources, introduced the developed forest operation theory, built up the dynamic data management system of forest resources, established comprehensive legislation system of forest operation, innovated the forest operation mode, completed institution and function and so on. Dedicate to the plan compilation of scientific forest operation to promote owners of forest resources and operation management to be on the right track of contemporary scientific operation management of forest and improve forestry production and industry for reaching new heights. Keyword： forest; resources; investigation; scientific management; Received： 2017-07-19 为了满足林业生产和森林资源经营管理需要, 推进“森林云南”和“美丽云南”及林业生态文明建设, 云南省人民政府办公厅于2014年8月13日印发《关于切实做好全省森林资源规划设计调查工作的通知》, 要求从2014—2016年在全省范围内组织开展森林资源规划设计调查。为此, 云南省林业厅调集全省林业技术力量集中攻坚, 于2016年底完成了以国有林场、自然保护区、森林公园等森林经营单位或县级行政区域为调查单位的森林资源二类调查。
