My name is Paul Beckmann. I’m an engineer with Analog Devices and today I am going to be discussing an introduction to VisualAudio. This module provides an introduction to VisualAudio; a tool for rapid development of audio processing software. The examples and demonstrations today will be based on the Blackfin 533 EZ-KIT although VisualAudio also supports a large number of other Blackfin and SHARC processors. You will learn about the primary features of VisualAudio and how the tool can accelerate product development. You’ll learn how to design audio processing layouts using the graphical editor and also a little bit about the underlying DSP software architecture.
