I’m with the DSP and Systems Group at Analog Devices. We’re here today to talk about the Multimedia Starter Kit. About this module training before we begin, this training discusses the Analog Devices Blackfin Multimedia Starter Kit and the Blackfin Software Development Kit, the SDK, if you will. We’re going to try to show you how to develop multimedia applications using regularly available hardware and software that comes bundled with the kit, and the tools from Analog Devices. For this training I’d like to recommend that you are familiar with our VisualDSP++ Tool, you have a basic knowledge of the software terminology, and have experience in embedded systems, as well as a basic knowledge of our Blackfin processors and our development boards. I’d like to make a quick note before we begin that when we talk about VisualDSP++ here, we really mean VisualDSP++ 4.5 or later.
