Methods：Compression hemostasis with gelatin-sponge-covered vaseline gauze roll was performed on 8 patients with postoperative hemorrhoea after procedure for prolapse and hemorrhoids to observe its clinical efficacy. Results：Among the 8 patients treated with gelatin-sponge-covered vaseline gauze roll, successful hemostasis was achieved in all cases, a 100% effectiveness.Conclusions：The application of vaseline gauze roll with a coating of gelatin sponge is a simple and effective antihemorrhagic method, which helps the reduction of patientsrsquo; psychological and physical injury, economic losses in secondary operation, and medical disputes as well. 　　【Key words】vaseline gauze roll; gelatin sponge; procedure for prolapse and hemorrhoids; pemorrhoea 　　痔上粘膜环形切除钉合术自1998年问世以来 ，因其疗效显著且痛苦小、复发率低等优点在国内外得到广泛的推广和应用[1]，但其并发症亦不容忽视，其中以术后出血几率最高[2]，而术后大出血最为凶险[3]。 我科采用油纱卷外覆明胶海绵压迫止血取得了满意的效果，现汇报如下： 　　1 资料与方法： 　　1.1 临床资料 我科2011年11月至2013年9月共实施PPH术712例，出现术后大出血8例，出血量约为300-800ml，其中环状混合痔2例，混合痔伴嵌顿3例，Ⅲ度内痔3例；出血时间为术后6-12天；年龄为36岁-55岁，其中男性6例，女性2例，除一例患有肾功能衰竭行血液透析并使用抗凝剂以外其余均无严重基础疾病及凝血功能异常。 　　1.2 大出血后处理方法 明确为活动性大出血后（肛门持续性鲜红色血液流出或短期间断排出暗红色血液及血凝块总量达100ml以上者[4]）立即在筒状肛门镜下引流出肛管直肠内积存血液，看清吻合口层面后（无需明确吻合口具体出血点），立即顺肛门镜填入四周覆有明胶海绵之油纱卷（外层为明胶海绵，中间层为10*10cm凡士林纱布，
