This may be derived from a proposal or developed as part of service delivery for the client. If it is derived from a proposal it represents a consolidation of the proposal and any changes that have occured during contract negotiation, meetings, etc (This deliverable should be worked and, if necessary, reworked with the client to everyone’s best advantage). Some projects will be at multi-site, multi-national clients. It is essential that this section define the project clearly enough so that consistency is achievable for all the sites. It is worth the time to review these issues with the project team at each site. Make sure that all sites understand and agree to the mission statement.
