《东南亚南亚研究》 2011年增刊 EnhancingEducationalCooperationforFurther HumaneCooperationwithSAARC ZouPing A Friendly cooperativerelationship ofcuhural and educationalexchangesbetween Chinaand SAARChasbeendevelopingsuccessfullyforalongtime．Viewedasthecommunicationcartierofcul- turalandeducational exchanges，educationalexchangehasplayedafundamentallyanduniversallylong - lastingleadingrole．Moreover，ithasimprovedthemutualtrustbetweenthememberstates．BasedOil thedifferentnational conditions，culturesandeducationsystemsofChinaandSAARC，however，educa- tioninChinacoulddrawonmanyparts，suchaslearningandcommunication，ofrcompetitiveimprove- ment，problemsandchallengesineconomicglobalization． Asoneoftheprovincesofthesouthwestfrontier，Yunnanhasadvantagesinitsgeographiclocation andhumanresources。Inaddition，cooperationineducationhasattachedrgeatimportancetotheconsid- erationofimprovingcommunicationinthefieldofhumanity． Exchangeandcooperation in educationhasdeveloped Inthelasttenyears，YunnanProvincehasattachedimportancetothemutual communicationand cooperationbetweenthecountriesofSAARC．Accordingtothedevelopmentaldemands，thecooperative projectsthathavedevelopedareasfollows： OfferedbyYunnanProvinceforStudentsfromthecountriesofSAARC Yunnna ProvincialGovernmentencouragesstudentsfrom SAARC tostudy in Yunnan．In2010，22 studentsfrom Bnagladesh，255studentsfrom India，165studentsfromNepal，36studentsfromPakistna and42 studentsfrom SriLankastudiedindifferenttypesofschoolsinOur province．TheChineseGovernmentand Yunnna Provincial Governmenthaveofferedfullscholarshipstoanumberofthetopstudents． ToActivelyCarryOutIntergovernmentalSeniorDialogue，andPromoteCommunicationandCooper- ation Forthepurposeofseekingimprovementinthelevelofcommunicationandcooperation，andinor— dertobroaden thefieldofc
