To put theory into practice and improve the ability. 【学习目标】 性质 非谓语动词具有动词的特点,但在句子中起着名词、形容词、副词的作用,充当主语、表语、定语、宾语、宾语补足语、状语,即:除谓语以外的一切成分。 非谓语动词 以义悟形 1. He crossed the road, keeping his eyes on the spot where the cat had been investigating. 2. When crossing the road, you can’t be too careful. 3. He gets up early to catch the early bus. 4. To be early is better than to be late. 非谓语 动词形式 用法 一般式 完成式 否定式 动词-ing to do doing having done not doing to do 表主动 或进行 表目的 或将来 to have done not to do 动词-ing 形式 动词-ing 形式主要考查其在句子中作定语和状语的用法 【跟踪演练】 1. European football is played in 80 countries, ______ it the most popular sport in the world. A. making B. makes C. made D. to make 结果 2. Tell Mary that there’s someone _______for her at the door. A. waiting???????? B. waited?? C. waits???????? Being a little boy, he knows a little about this society. 2. Being tired of the boring speech, he went out to have a rest. 3. Being poor, his family can’t afford to send him to school. be+n./adj.(普通形容词前)作原因状语时,be一般不省。 而由过去分词演变的形容词前,be 可省。 不定式 to do不定式常作主语、宾语、表语、定语、状语和补足语等。 1.不定式作主语: To master a foreign language is very important. 注意: (1)如果要说明不定式表示的动作是谁做的, 可以在不定式前加一个由 for 引起的短语。 It is easy for the students to read. (2)下列形容词作表语时,不定式前常加一个 of 引起的短语,这些形容词是:(表评价性的,来说明逻辑主语的性质、特征、属性) kind, good, nice, wise, unwise, clever, silly, stupid, foolish, wrong, right, careless, rude, polite, naughty等 It’s kind of you to think so much of us. 2. 不定式作表语 Her work is to look after the children. 注意: 不定式作be动词的表语时,可以和主语部分调换,说明主语的内容。 3.不定式作宾语: He offered to help me, which made me moved.
