After years of painstaking efforts, the scale of Chinas foreign trade has been a great change. The end of 2004, Chinas import and export value has exceeded hundreds of millions of U.S. dollars. In 2007, China import and export volume reached $ 2,173,830,000,000, has ranked third for six consecutive years, become the worlds major trading power. China has developed into the world trading power, but it is not really a world trade power, compared with the world trade power, there is still a big gap. If China wants to become a really world trade power, there is still a long way to go. Chinas export structure has entered a major adjustment period. Chinas merchandise exports in the future direction of development should be in keeping the scale of unskilled labor-intensive exports while the further expansion of exports of goods focused on capital, technology and knowledge-intensive products. To achieve the upgrading of Chinese export commodity structure, we have a competitive advantage as the guidance; translate the potential comparative advantage into real competitive advantage. This article consists of four parts to analyze the evolution of Chinas export commodity structure. The first part describes the evolution of Chinas export commodity structure and its present situation, according to the export proportion of primary products and manufactured goods and labor-intensive products and capital-intensive products; the second part analyze the main factors of the upgraded export commodities（upgrading of the industrial structure and foreign-invested enterprises）; the third part explore the bottleneck of the upgraded structure of export commo
