Abstract: The current situation of labor use in 16 typical factories producing laminated flooring in China and its
distribution are analyzed in this paper. It shows that some working procedures, such as the load, unload and transfer of
goods, the quality examination, package and storage of the products etc, are fi nished by the manual work and consumed
60-70% of total employee. To reduce the quantity of labor used in those procedures, some automation devices to replace
labor force are introduced. To reform an existed processing line with different
