How do you get to school? Unit 3 1. how对交通方式的提问 How do / does sb. go / get to + 地点？ 某人如何到达某地? How do you go to school? How does she get to work? 当地点是副词home, here, there等时，省略介词to. How do you get home? How does she get there/here? 2. take + 冠词 + 交通工具.使用某种交通工具 强调或特指某种交通工具时用the, 不强调时用a/an. take a bus 乘一辆公交，泛指要坐公交 take the bus 乘这辆公交，特指坐某辆公交。 有些动词短语 = by + 交通工具 take a bus= by bus take a train=by train 坐飞机 walk = on foot I walk there.=I go there on foot. 骑自行车 ride a bike=by bike 3. how long对时间段的提问 How long does it take you to get to school? how long表示“多长时间”，对一个延续性动作或状态所占用的时间进行提问。回答这样的问题，后面常常用“for+一段时间”的状语. 结构：How long +助动词+主语+动词原形+其他？ --How long will you stay in Beijing? --I have lived here for four years . 这本书你要借多久？ 4. how far用来询问两地之间的距离。 结构：How far is it from A to B? =How far is A from B? How far (away) is A from B? Eg. How far is it from Beijing to Wuhan? = How far (away) is Beijing from Wuhan? 5.It takes / took sb. + 时间 + to do sth. it 做形式主语 花费某人多少时间做某事。 It takes me three hours to go to work by train. =I take three hours to go to work by train. It took me a month to finish the plan. 举例： 做家庭作业经常要花费我一个小时的时间。 6.get, arrive, reach 到达 get vi. 一般用在口语中。 get to + 地点 He often gets to the school at seven. How do they get there? arrive vi. arrive in + 大地点 at + 小地点 What time can he arrive at the bus station? I can arrive in HK on time. reach vt. 直接加地点，比较正式。 When will you reach London? I reach school at 6 o’clock everyday. 7.It is + adj. + (for sb.) to do sth. 表示做某事对某人来说很 It 是形式主语 It is easy for you to see him.见他对你来说很简单 Is it good for you to say so? 你这样说对你来说很好吗？ 把英语学好对你来说很好。 8. between, among between, 用于两者之间 I can’t tell the difference between you and me. among, 用于三者或三者以 There is a bad man among you, him and me. We are going to choose a monitor among our class. 在中国，美国，日本，和加拿大之间，将会有 一个赢家。
