RMB appreciation have advantages and disadvantages to our agriculture product trade. In the short term, it will reduce the agricultural products export and the farmers income. But in the long term, the appreciation of the RMB can further improve the level of Chinas agricultural production technology and reduce agricultural production costs. In consideration of our agricultural products trade market concentration and the primary products are major agricultural export products, our country should seize the opportunity of the RMB appreciation, develop the agricultural technology, strengthen support for agriculture, broaden the channels of trade, so as to realize the sustainable development of Chinas agricultural products, promoting the international competitiveness of agricultural products in China.
