However, the cultivation of students independent learning ability cannot abandon the basic learning, and should pay attention to the knowledge points and construct the knowledge system. At the same time, we should further strengthen the situation teaching, experience the cultural evolution, and cultivate the students’ ability to judge history. In addition, guiding students to use historical thinking, to analyze new materials and new viewpoints is also an important embodiment of students’ independent learning ability. The evolution of the mainstream ideology of traditional Chinese culture can fit well with all aspects above, which can be extended to other thematic teaching with good demonstration significance.
