1 After you insert the CD, iTunes will automatically look it up in the Gracenote CDDB (CD Database) if your Mac is connected to the Internet. If the CD is 2 widely distributed, iTunes will display a listing of tracks on the CD along with their titles and artists. If iTunes prompts you to import the CD into your iTunes Library, as shown 3 here, click No if you just want to play the CD. Click Yes if you want to import the CD’s songs as digital audio files (see “Copy CDs to Your Mac,” later in this chapter, for details). iTunes will select all tracks to play (the check marks on the left of the song 4 titles). Click the Play button in the upper left and the first track will begin to play. On your screen iTunes should look like Figure 7-2, shown with a CD inserted and playing.
