主谓一致 定义：主谓一致是指主语和谓语动词要保持人称和数上的一致Each boy and (each) girl has an apple. 每个男孩和每个女孩都有一个苹果 Many a teacher and (many a ) students has seen the film. 许多老师和学生都看过这部电影 3. or; nor ，not only...but (also)…; not…but… neither...nor...; either...or...,， 及there be句型中的谓语动词要就近一致，与它邻近的主语的人称和数保持一致。 Neither you nor I am interested in music.你和我对音乐都不感兴趣。 You or he is wrong.或者你错了或者他错了。 There is an apple and many bananas on the table. =There ______many bananas and an apple on the table.桌子上有个苹果和许多香蕉。 4.当主语后面跟有with, together with, along with, as well as, rather than, as much as, but, except等词引起的短语时，谓语动词与前面的主语一致。 The teacher together with some students （be）visiting the factory. He as well as I （want）to go boating. 5. 并列从句作主语，谓语动词用复数。 When he will go and where he will go aren’t decided. When he will go isn’t decided. When and where he will go decided. 单一主语的主谓一致 一般单数的主语跟单数的动词，复数的主语跟复数的动词，但在实际中有很多特殊情况。 集合名词 1)当把集合名词作为一个整体来看待时， 谓语动词用单数，但如何指其中各个成员的时，谓语动词常用复数 His family are waiting for him. 他的家人正在等他 His family is very poor. 他家很穷 常见的集合名词有： family, class, team, group, government, committee(委员会，委员)audience(观众，听众)，company, union, public, couple等。 2）有些有生命的集合名词作主语时，谓语动词只能用复数，如the cattle, people,the police, the folk,（人们）the youth，the poultry（家禽）等。 The cattle are grazing in the fields.牛在田里吃草。 3）无生命物体的集合名词作主语时，谓语动词通常用单数。如clothing, furniture, jewllery 等。 All the furniture has been moved to another room. 所有的家具已经被搬到了另外一个房间。 2. 形复意单的名词 形复意单的名词作主语（即形式为复数，意义为单数），按意义一致的原则，用作单数意义时，谓语用单数。 1）许多学科名称，如mathematics, physics, economics, politics等，动词用单数。 Physics is required of every student in our school. 物理是我校每个学生的必修科目。 2）用作国名、组织机构、书名、报刊名等复数形式的专有名词作为整体对待，谓语用单数。 The United Nations has passed a resolution to lift sanctions against Iraq. 联合国通过了解除对伊制裁的决定。 The Times reports the news of the strike. 时代杂志报导了罢工的消息。 Great Expectations was written by Dickens in 1860. 《远大前程》是狄更斯于1860年写的。 3）news 谓语用单数。
