Yes, I agree,/ No, I don’t agree.” 2.Use the sentence “I think…” to express their own opions. 3.The usage of the words “good/better/bad/worse” and students learn to use these words to compare. 4. Learn to ask and answer “who is…”. Teaching Foucs and Difficulties: 1.Learn the special comparative degree of the words “good/bad” and use them(better/worse) to compare the things in their daily life expertly. 2.The usage of the sentence pattern “I think…” to express one’s own opion. 3.Ask and answer the question “Do you agree?” Teaching Aids: 1.Word cards (quiet/think/voice/good/better/bad/worse) 2.Tape with students’ voice in it. 3.Courseware of this unit. Teaching Steps: Step I Warmer: Listen and do (ask students to make some noise then teach the expression “Be quiet”) Step II presentation(A): 1.Game: Listen and guess who’s voice it is. T asks: “Who’s that little boy/girl?” Ss answer with the sentence using “I think he/she is…” T asks others: “Do you agree?” and guides them answer “Yes, I agree./No, I don’t agree.” (If students can’t get the correct answer, they can try to ask teacher question. “Who’s that little boy/girl?”) 2. Pair work: (During the guessing game) A: Who’s that little boy/girl? B: I think he/she is…, do you agree? A: Yes, I agree./No, I don’t agree, I think he/she is… 3. After listen to one’s song, ask them “Do you like her/his voice?” Student should give their answer and make sentence with the word “voice”. E.g. I like Wang Tian’s voice. Step III Presentation (B): 1. Look at the courseware which is showing the student’s hand-written reports about “My family” and ask them to choose the good one and the bad one with the sentence using: E.g. I think picture 1 is good./ I think picture 2 is bad. 2. Show other two students’works and teach the new words “better/worse” and ask them to compare them. Ss: “I think picture 3 is bett
