Research on the Occupational Health Management System for TW Nuclear Power PlantABSTRACTOccupational health management is an effective way to prevent the corporate employees from suffering occupational hazards in their work, but it starts late in China. The rationalized management system and the legal system are under construction, and managers and workers have little awareness of occupational health issues. Chinas legislature has been emphasizing the importance of the occupational health management since Fukushima nuclear accident on March 11, 2011, because nuclear power plants have both radioactive and non-radioactive characteristics. The public are paying more and more attention to the nuclear power plants, and the occupational health management is becoming more and more important. The nuclear power plants are facing with more and more risks of the occupational hazards, and an occupational health management system is badly needed.This paper, by taking the TW nuclear power plant as an example, describes the characteristics and the current status of the occupational health management system for nuclear power plants, and analyzes the existing forms and manifestations of occupational health hazards at nuclear power plants. In order to prevent the workers at the nuclear power plants fromIIIsuffering from both radioactive hazards and non-radioactive hazards, a series of measures are proposed as follows.
