AbstractChinese characters teaching is the fundamental and the hardest part in the TCSL. Characteristics and the rules of Chinese characters are the reasones, which restricts the development of TCSL. By analyzing the structure characteristics of the Chinese character and compare with the structure of the English words, thinking how to teaching Chinese characters in TCSL better, then put forward some feasible suggestions and methods.This article is researched on a part of the 800 words of the grade a characters and the roots and affixes in English, analysis the components of the two languages of word-formation ability, word formation and in formation in the middle of the deformation, it dosn’t discuss which one is more rationality and scientific nature, but find effective teaching methods by contrast of the two books constitutive parts by the motivations of Chinese characters.The text includes four parts:The first part mainly introduces the theoretical basis of Chinese characters teaching in TCSL.The second part is that by analyzing the characteristics of Chinese characters, knowing the Chinese characters deductive process, understanding the Chinese character component of Chinese characters radical group word method, deductive method, and the Chinese character system formed by Chinese characters on Chinese character component between the radical.The third part is analysis the level of Chinese class a vocabulary and English vocabulary, knowing the similarities and difference clearly.The forth part is proposes some feasible methods and suggestions for the Chinese characters font teaching.
