And as the Hi-Tech development nowadays, I’ll let Multimedia teaching run through my whole class. By using it, I can set up imaginal memory system to make word—remembering be effective. According to its vivid characters, multimedia can also arouse the students’ learning interests and widen students’ horizon. * Another thing as important as teaching methods in class activity is the direction of learning methods. In this class, I’ll direct the students to remember more words by using imaginal memory system and word-formation system. In this class, the students need to learn how to identify text clues for global understanding and search for related information independently, too. * This text learning will last for 12 periods. One class for text structure learning, one class for listening comprehension, four classes for text content learning, two classes for grammar focus, two classes for translation learning, and the last two classes for writing practice. * This is the 1st class of the text learning. I divide this class into three general parts: pre-reading, while reading, and post- reading. The “lead-in”, “targets showing”, and“task-review”part belong to the pre-reading section. In While reading, use skimming to get the main idea and use scanning to get specific information are the contents. In last section – post reading, I’ll set some tasks to extend the students’ knowledge, improve the students ability. * Now, I’d like to show my class in details. Here we go to the teaching procedure part. * I’ll show a video to the students to lead in my new class and develop their comprehension analyzing ability. Heuristic teaching method will be used in this section. * After that, I’ll show the learning targets to the students to let them know what they should grasp from this class clearly. * Title analysis is necessary to the students. It includes two sessions: those are task-review and new word learning. * Abraham Lincoln is one necessary factor
