Project Description The schedule system includes the following components. These components will interact with one another and share data, however, a standalone portion of the Time Attendance module is prioritized to implement first. Time Attendance This component includes new time clocks in each facility and center to up-load punch data to a central server. The time clocks use a swipe card technology. It includes a web system for managers of each facility or department to edit and approve the punch data for payroll. It includes a web system for the Accounting department to edit the approved punch data and up-load it into the Microsoft Great Plains Payroll system. It includes a web system for management and executive level employees to have a real-time view of who is working where. It includes functionality to track time off (of any kind), replacing the existing Attendance Controller system. During the facility manager approval process, this system will interact with the schedule to show discrepancies between actual and scheduled hours. This function can be added on later in order to allow the other functions of Time Attendance to be implemented first. S This component includes the scheduling of all clinical and facility activities for clients and clinicians and the work schedules of the facility rehabilitation assistants. It also includes tracking hourly staffing budgets for the facilities with functions for management to compare staffing budgets to scheduled staffing. It is a web system in which assigned schedulers do the majority of the data entry and everyone else can view their schedules. Development Process The Information Systems Department at US Medical Center will work closely with the consulting firm. All documentation and design must be approved by this department. This department will serve as the primary contact for the project. At times, demonstrations of progress will be required for review by the Executive level personnel at US Med
