Information and content represented in a literature must resort to some symbol of information as well as some material carrier, by which the literature can be preserved and transported for a long time. （二）Kinds of Literature There are many ways to classify literatures. In this section, the literature is divided into two classes: Primary sources, secondary sources. (1) The Scientific Journal Modern primary journals contain articles, which are reports research or original observations. The journal article may have evolved from the paper prepared for oral delivery at meetings of scholarly societies, or perhaps from prize essays which early societies developed to stimulate scientific research. The modern scientific journal article often has a set of format. There may or may not be a summary, or abstract, at the beginning of article. There is usually an introduction which states the problem examined in the article. The discussion brings the results together, evaluates them, and interprets them in the light of other research. There is usually a reference section at the end of the article listing the literature cited in work. (2) Trade Journals Practical information related to persons in industry is conveyed in the trade journal. The content includes business news, product information, advertising, and trade articles.
