1. INTRODUCTION
Prior to the 1992 Code of Ethics of the American Psychological
Association (A.P.A.), there was little in the Code that specifically dealt with
forensic practice. In fact, one of the problems with the 1981 and 1989 Codes
was the fact that many of the difficulties and ethical pitfalls encountered by
forensic practitioners were not well delineated
