Unit 4 . Daily Rountines—Listening and Reading 高三6班 区丽鸣 I.Teaching goals: Enable students to speak English out step by step by making sentences. Encourage students to talk and practise English through cooperation study. Build up students’ confidence of speaking English and strengthen their ability of taking notes.. II. Important points: Master the important skills of imitation and pay special attention to the pronunciation and intonation. III. Difficult points: 1.How to do the asking and answering questions in role play; 2. How to take notes IV. Teaching procedures: Lead in Read and translate the following sentences: 1).What do you usually have for breakfast? 2). How often do you do exercises? 3). How long do you watch TV every day? 4). When do you go to bed everynight? 5). Are you free tomorrow? I want to invite you to dinner. 2. How do you spend your school days? 1) Make a sentence according to one of the following pictures. (List some useful words and expressions, and the students should make the sentences by themselves in more than 10 words). 2) Imitation Imitate reading the passage together Group competition Role play Brainstorming: (Invite students to think about what they would say when they invite their friends for dinner. They can both express in Chinese and English) If you want to invite your deskmate for dinner, what will you say? Are you free today? Shall we have supper together tomorrow evening? Do I have to pick you up? What do you want to eat tomorrow night? What do you usually have for dinner? Look at the picture carefully, and liten to the dialogue and answer the question. (First play the tape, then show the questions and answer them). How does the woman think of the flowers? How many performances are there altogether? What does the woman want to watch? When is the man going to take a trip? What magazine does the man receive? 3. Homework:
