Work to live or live to work Nowadays, many people are wondering whether we should work to live or live to work .The answer differs from one person to another. Many people hold the opinion that we are working to live. In their opinions, they work for money to improve their living conditions. They think when people live on earth, they need foods and drinks but these all things can't come from sky ,in other word ,is can't come to you for free. So people need to work and get money to buy things for live. No work, no money, no life. On the contrary, other people live to work. They devote themselves to their work. The aim for which they work is to realize the value of life, to promote the development of society and to make more people live happily. They make great contribution to society and at the same time they also find pleasure from their work. * * People who choose “work to live” are realistic. They are quite clear about the motive for work, that is, to survive in this competitive planet and earn a living. This sort of person is often thought as mentally poor. But I don’t think they are to blame for this. After all, mental progress is only available after the living necessitates are fulfilled. In my opinion, I feel that we have to work to live, but we should perform to the best of our potential when we work. Only in this way, can we not only earn our living, but also work happily and make great contributions to society.
