School of Electrical Engineering, Wuhan University, Wuhan 430072, China) Abstract ：With the characteristics of complex circuits, a lot of connection points and harsh operation environment, the second circuit wiring of substations is vulnerable to a variety of abnormalities or failures. The problems commonly happened in the second circuit wiring are analyzed in the paper, including the DC distributed capacitance and searching techniques for single point grounding, the grounding and polarity of the AC circuit with PT/TA, the optical coupling and interference of computer protection system, and the anti-jamming measures. Meanwhile, countermeasures to deal with these problems are given.
