If the tow er body varies com- plicatedly, it cou ld be div ided into several elem en ts a long height d irect ion, so the integration would be replaced by segm en tation sum. In order to verify the a lgorithm m ent ioned in this p aper, the v ibrat ion test of a steel tow er is car- ried out on the sh aking tab le to m easure its fundam en tal frequ ency. The test resu lt is c lose to the approx mi ate a lgo- rithm, w hich show s high precision o f this algorithm.
