The study of this lesson will help the Ss to use simple English in communication. II. Teaching goals Therefore, on studying the teaching material and analyzing children’s learning characteristics, I put forward the teaching goals according to English syllabus and English Curriculum Standards. 1. Knowledge goals (1) The Ss are able to understand and use:”Are you helpful at home? “ what can you do?” amd “I can… and use these sentences in real situations. (2) The Ss are able to understand and read the conversation of the lesson. 2. Ability goals (1) The Ss are able to use the patterns to express their thoughts in the proper scene. 3. Teaching methods and learning methods Teaching methods Well, how to achieve the teaching objectives better, to stress the key points and break through the difficult points? The key is how to make use of the proper teaching methods. So in this lesson, I plan to use the task-based language teaching. It offers the Ss an opportunity to complete the tasks in which Ss use language to achieve a specific outcome.
