Review is presented on critical heat flux in helical coils.
Axial wall temperature distribution is analysed on inner and outer side of coils.
Effect of heat flux, mass flux, curvature and quality on CHF is studied.
CHF is studied in complete saturated region with quality ranging from 0 to 1.
Simple correlation is developed to predict the critical heat flux at low pressure.
