Teaching goals:

A) key vocabulary: ping-pong ball/bat, tennis racket, soccer ball
volleyball, TV, computer game, pen, ruler, apple….
B)Target language: Do you have…? Yes, I do. /No, I don’t.
Does she/he have…? Yes, she/he does. /No, she/he doesn’t.
2. Ability objects
A) Train students listening skill.
B) Train students’ communicative competence using the key vocabulary and target language.
3. Moral objects:
Do sports in your spare time. It’s good for your health. Let students
support Beijing Olympic Games in 2008.

Yes, he/she does. / No, he/she doesn’t.

Teaching procedures:
Step I: Greetings.
Say: “hello” to students.
Step II: warming-up.

Step III: Presentation.
(1) Hold up a pen and ask

(2) Look at the screen. Show Students some of pictures of different ball games, such as ping-pong ball, 厖s

(3)Look at the picture in 1a and talk about .
Ask Students to match the words with the things in the picture.
Then, check the answers.
Step IV: Practice
First, hold up a ping-pong ball and say: “What is this in English?
Students: “It’s a ping-pong ball.”
T: “I have a ping-pong ball. Do you have a ping-pong ball?”
Help Students answer.
Next, ask a girl to answer the questions: “Do you have a pen?”
The girl: “ Yes, I do.”
And then, ask all students: “Does she have a pen?” “Yes, she does.”
“Does she have a computer?” “No, she doesn’t.”
“Does he have a computer?” “No, he doesn’t.”
