The changes in temperature and humidity conditions, hardening and volume deformation, due to a variety of material deformation is not consistent, mutual restraint and initial stress, resulting in cracks in concrete appearance. The micro fracture distribution is irregular and inconsistent, in load or stress, cracks began to expand, and gradually communicated with each other, thereby greatly visible cracks, called macro crack, what say normally namely crack. Cracking occurs may be caused by the selection of raw materials and mix proportion, improper selection of construction methods and measures in error, the conditions and the building structure is not reasonable. Concrete produced by the temperature shrinkage, dry shrinkage, uneven settlement, structure stress concentration may lead to cracking of concrete. In practical engineering, is often a variety of factors of concrete crack caused by multiple effect. Width of less than or equal to 0.05mm cracks usually on the use of no great harm, called harmless cracks, and the structure will not only reduce the harmful cracks in mechanical property and bearing capacity, but also directly affect the durability of the structure, shorten the service life. Measures shall be taken during construction to make minimal structural cracks, or reduce the number of crack width and, especially to avoid harmful cracks.
