Lesson Plan Presentation
Good night ladies and gentlemen. My name is Zhu Xudong. I am from the school of foreign language, Anhui normal university. It’s my pleasure to present my lesson plan here today. The lesson plan I am going to present is from junior school Grade7 Unit 6 Shopping. I’d like to explain how to teach and why to do so from the following 6 aspects: the analysis of teaching material, the theoretical basis, the teaching methods and studying ways, teaching procedure, blackboard design and self-reflection.1. Analysis of teaching material
The analysis of teaching material comes first. This unit is mainly talking about how to do shopping. The students have learned the model sentence “how much is it” , but they dont know how to make a dialogue. So the difficult point is how to let students know when to use “how much” as making a dialogue for shopping. In addition, students should know the countable and uncountable nones while make their dialogues.
So in order to fulfill the learning task of this lesson. I make out the following objectives. The first is cognitive(认知) target. Students get to know how to use model dialogue in public occasion and mind their behaviour and politeness correctly. The second is ability target. Students get to know how to do shopping appropriately, so does accept , reject or bargaining with reasons. The third is affection target. Ss can cultivate their interpersonal relations and improve their self-cultivation when they do shoppings accept services or decline them with polite words. The fourth is learning strategy target, especially communicative strategy. Ss can do model shoppings in groups, accept the goods and reject the goods with proper reasons and at the same time, Ss can develop the ability of communicating with others.
2. The theoretical basis
Next, I am going to talk about the theoretical basis. According to the National English Curriculum, the English Curriculum/[k?rikjul?m]/ aims for promoting learner-
