Thanks to?a host of generous supporters, headed by Heritage Lottery Fund, this stunning and atmospheric building is to be saved for future generations. As well as securing the building itself, our project will transform the way we present, interact with and use our heritage by implementing a 3-year activity plan. We are looking for a full-time Learning Participation Officer to join our resident Historian and the rest of the Wilton’s team to lead on, develop and deliver the schools education and community engagement elements of our activity programme. Purpose of the job To lead on, develop and deliver the schools education and community engagement elements of the Revealed and Alive Participation and Learning Programme Activity Plan action plan. This includes the development and delivery of community engagement projects leading to sustainable partnerships, managing active participation in the project by local people, the development and delivery of the Scene in Time events including outreach welcome workshops, the Guardianship schools education and arts programme and online resources. To support the Archive and Interpretation Manager as appropriate with the delivery of the Accessible Archive project, Conservation in Action skills development programme and volunteer training. To help establish an effective model for community collaboration and participation across the three year programme and to ensure that the project contributes to sustainable audience development practice.Principal duties 1.
