I: Specification Initiator. S indicates that the pack is initiated by a well-known company and thus considered as an industrial Standard pack. C indicates that the pack is a Custom design initiated by customer or Edan. For industrial standard pack, the model name is similar to the known model. For custom designs, the model format is sOttwwlllM. Where s: number of cells in serial. O: options. It includes the information of 4 options encoded in hexadecimal. The 4 options are: PTC, ID, NTC, and connector. They are weighted 8, 4, 2, 1, respectively. The total weight is then represented in hexadecimal.
