Grammar 形容词、副词的比较级和最高级 1、一般情况下，比较级＋er ， 最高级＋est 如： few－fewer－fewest small－smaller－smallest clever－cleverer－cleverest 一、规则变化 1)比较级＋er ， 最高级＋est（单音节词或少 数双音节形容词）  2、以e结尾的，比较级＋r，最高级＋st 。 如：nice－nicer－nicest large－larger－largest 3、 以辅音字母＋y结尾的变y为i＋er或est 如: easy－easier－easiest happy－happier－happiest 再如：early , busy , heavy , dirty , lazy也如此。 4、 以重读闭音节结尾，末尾只有一个辅音字母，先双写这个辅音字母，再加＋er 或 est。 fat－fatter－fattest thin－thinner－thinnest 2、 原级前＋more构成比较级，原级前＋most构成最高级。（多音节词、双音节副词和大部分双音节形容词） 如： beautiful － more beautiful － most beautiful slowly －more slowly －most slowly careful － more careful － most careful  二、不规则变化 good/well（好） bad/badly/ill（坏） many/much（多） little （少） far （远） old（老） better best worse worst more most farther － farthest further － furthest less least older － oldest elder － eldest （进一步） （长幼关系） My _______ brother is five years_________ than I . elder older early free tall well busy high wet ill careful heavy bright difficult red quickly lazy big good 比较级和最高级用法：两者比较用比 较级：三者或三者以上比较用最高级 1、他比我高。 2、他是这三个人中最高的。  He is taller than I.
