It is rather used to protect the plants from the adverse climatic conditions such as wind, cold, precipitation, excessive radiation, extreme temperature, insects and disease. It is also of vital importance to create an ideal micro climate around the plants. It requires intensive sensing of the climate conditions at ground level and rapid communication of data to the central repository. Internet is an emerging field that can be used to monitor and control the agriculture parameters in order to make intelligent automated agriculture system.
