Music of the UK There is no one specific type of music for the UK. There is a diverse range of music genres from pop, hip-hop, grime, rap through to classical. Even with the UK’s small size, within the music world it is highly respected. Its not just popular for children teenagers but people of all ages have a strong passion for music Music of the UK This can be seen by the different music shows on the main TV stations They range from Saturday morning shows for children Teenagers (like music bank, music core in South Korea) Through to late evening music shows for twenties and older. America does not have any national radio stations. Sometimes smaller countries can be more convenient Radio *For student reading* It is easier for a singer to have a popular song in the UK as they only have to be played frequently on a few radio stations Whereas in America, the record companies have to get many radio stations to play the songs.
