Therefore, lifelong learning is very important. John Dewey is a famous philosopher and educator, and its far-reaching impact on modern education. John Dewey promotes that education and learning are lifelong process, and he promotes the overall concept of the learning and life. Therefore, John Dewey is always regarded as the first person who promotes lifelong learning. His edu- cational philosophy has implications for lifelong learning. This article discusses the ori- gins and meanings of John Deweys educational philosophy, and then further explores the implications of John Deweys educational philosophy for lifelong learning.
