AbstractInthesolutiontocomplexlayoutproblemsuchassatellitemodulelayoutdesign, human-computercooperationevolutionaryalgorithmisaneffectalgorithm.Itskey factoristhatthenumericalsolutionsoflayoutschemesofthesimilarlayoutcasesand scanneddiagramsareobtainedtoinitializethepopulationindividualsofevolutionary (genetic)algorithmandtoreplacetheindividualswithpoorfitnessintheprocessof iteration.Intheprocessoflayoutdesign,allcomponentsaresimplifiedas2-Dcircular andrectangularobjects.Whendetectingtheparametersofascannedlayoutscheme diagramthroughthegeneralizedHoughtransformapproach,thecircleis detected firstlyduetoitsanalyticformulaandiseliminatedfordetectionefficiency.Becauseof thelimitationofdetectionaccuracy,theeliminatingcirclewillmaketheadjacent rectanglesincomplete.Inaddition,thereisasmallamountofoverlapbetween rectanglesinalayoutscheme.Theexistingalgorithmsaredifficultforthedetectionof manyincompleteor/andintersectingrectangles.Therefore,takingthelayoutdesignof satellitemoduleasbackground,thispaperstudiesneuralnetworkmethodofthe detectionofmanyrectangles(includesincompleteor/andintersectingrectangles)for theknowledgelayoutschemediagram.Themainworkisdescribedasfollows:Aneuralnetworkdetectionmethodofrectanglesbasedonimprovedk-means algorithmisproposedtodetectincompleterectangles.Theproposednewimproved k-meansalgorithmischoosingarectanglewhileallthedatapointsofthedatasetfallin itoronitsboundary.Thentherectangleisdividedintosomesmallrectangleswiththe samesize,andthenthemeanvalueofthedatapointswhichfallinthesamesmall rectangleiscalculated.Thesemeanvaluesareusedtoinitializetheclusteringcenter. Thevalueoftheclusteringnumberkwillbegottenwhentheratioofthedistance betweenintra-clusterandinter-clustergetstheminimum.Inthealgorithmofrectangle detection,effectiveimagepointsareclusteredatfirst,andthemaximumandminimum ineachclusterareselected.Thenthemaximumsandminimumsareusedtoinitialize theweightsofneuron,whichwill avoidthe competitionfailure causedbyrandom initializationandreducethecom
