AbstractTechnologicalprocess ofrare earthconversion(REC)coatingon Al18B4O33w/6061Alcompositewasresearchedinthispaper.Thebesttechnicalparameterofconversioncoatingwasobtainedbyorthogonaltests.Theeffectsof technicalparameter(concentrationsofrareearthsalts,concentrationsofoxidizerH2O2,pHandimmersiontime)ontheformationandcorrosionpropertiesofthecoatingwerestudiedindetail.Themicrostructures,elementscomposition,andthicknessoftheconversioncoatinghavebeenexaminedbyscanningelectron microscopy(SEM)andenergydispersiveX-ray,andthecorrosionbehaviorandcorrosionmechanismofthecompositewithconversioncoatingwereevaluated bypolarizationcurvesandelectrochemicalimpedancespectroscopy(EIS).Varioussurfacemicrostructureswereobservedinthecompositewithconversioncoating.Anobviousdifferenceinmorphologicaltransformationswas observedonthesurfacesofthecoatingcomposites.Thesurfaceofthesamplewiththe optimal conversionparameter treated can becovered by the coating.XPSanalysisindicatedthattheconversioncoatingswerecomposedof ceriumoxidationandhydroxide.Themainphasesdetectedintheconversion coatingwereCe3+andCe4+,accordingtothecharacteristic peak.Theresultsofpolarizationcurvesindicatethatconcentrationofceriumsolutionhassignificantinfluencesonthecorrosionresistanceoftheconversioncoating,andtheoptimalconversionparameterofceriumconcentrationwas7.5 percent.Otherparametershavealsosignificantinfluencesonthecorrosionresistanceofcoating.AnincreaseinEpitwasobtainedafterconversiontreatmentforthecomposite.Theimprovementwasconsideredprimarilyduetotherareearthconversioncoatinginhibitthe propagationof corrosion.Moreover,thespecimenwiththeoptimalconversionparametertreatedexhibitedamuchgreaterresistancetocorrosionthantheotherspecimenswithconversiontreated.Thiswasattributedtotheformationofthehomogeneousandcompactmicrostructureinthe surfaceofthe composite.Keywordscomposite;rareearthconversioncoating;corrosion; microstructure目录摘要................................................................................................
