J.M. Keller,anAmericanfamous psychologistProfessor,developsARCSmodelofmotivationdesign,whichconsistsoffourfactors,that’sattention,relevance,confidenceandsatisfaction.The modelisexplainedtoattractstudents’attention.First,studentswillfindcertainrelevancewiththenewknowledgeandthepropertaskswillbuilduptheirconfidence,whichwillfinallymakethemfeelsatisfied.Thetheoryhasarousedquitealotattentionineducationfieldinmanycountriesandareassinceithadbeenputforward.ThepaperappliestheARCSmodelofmotivationoncomputerteachingofhighervocationalcollege.Firstly,itanalyzesthecharacteristics of higher vocational college students motivation, andpointsoutthatcultivatingandinspiringstudents’learningmotivationisanurgentdemandincurrenthighervocational education.Then accordingtothestudents’existing computerlevel andcomputercoursefeatures,thepaperputsforwardmotivationstrategybasedonARCSmodelofmotivationdesign,andthestrategyisprovedinteachingprocess.Finally,itevaluatespracticeeffectofmotivationstrategyfromdifferentangles.Accordingtotheresultsofsurveyand analysisand comparisonofstudentsacademicperformance,thepaperfindsoutbothlevelofmotivationalemotion andacademicperformancearegotacertaindegreeofimprovement.So,applicationofARCSmodelofmotivationdesignisvalidin computerteaching ofhighervocational collegeandcan stimulatestudents’learningmotivation.KeyWords:Learningmotivation,ARCSmodelofmotivationdesign,Highervocationalcollege,Computerteaching目录摘要..........................
