LAN Switching, providing Power over Ethernet for IP Phones and Wireless Access Points WAN (data) connectivity and routing for both H.248 connections to a Call Controller and for general inter/intranet connectivity G350 offers seamless integration with Avaya Communication Manager call control servers its “sweet-spot” is 16-24 users Overview (2) As a media-gateway the G350 is controlled by an Avaya CM Server. It provides media-gateway functions for Analog phones/trunks, digital trunks (ISDN BRI, E1/T1), and DCP phones. Its voice-related features are based on the G700/Avaya CM 2.0 feature set. LAN switching features are provided by 24x10/100 Ethernet port, and 1 Gig Ethernet port. 48V power is provided over the 10/100 ports, to power IP Phones and other PoE consumers (IEEE 802.3af) The G350 provides WAN routing services to stations on the LAN G350 support serial connections over X.21, V.35, Fractional, Channelized and un-channelized E1, and Channelized/fractional T1. HW Components (1) A base unit/chassis, known as the G350 Media Gateway, with the following modular bays and fixed ports: 1 - High-Density Media Module (HDMM) slot. 5 x G700 Form-Factor MM slots for Voice Media Modules (vMMs) or WAN Media Modules (wMMs) Slot V1 can contain the S8300 Internal Call Controller (ICC) module Slots V2-V5 can contain MM340/MM342 Data WAN modules MM760 VOIP Engine is not currently supported FIXED PORTS: one FXO, two FXS, one 10/100 Mbps Et
