ABSTRACTThe reasonable population mobility and distribution are an important plan of China. After reform and opening-up, the economy increases very well. As a result, population mobility becomes great quickly and quickly. More and more people migrate from village to city and from less developing region to developed region. The population mobility contributes to the social development and local economy of city, which boost urbanization. But the greater population mobility also results in problem, such as pressure of city management and development. In a word, the government should pay more attention to do research of floating population, including how to manage floating population under the policy of government; how to improve the effects and ability of floating population management; and how to supply valuable and convenient public service for floating people.According to my research, the effect of floating population management depends on the ability of how the government use and manage the information resources of floating people. The classical way of information management is inefficient, which result in several people information troubles, such as using, conservation and sharing. It strongly blocks the ability of government to manage floating population. However, informatization will bring new notion to floating people management, which can solve people information troubles well, and cause to the use people information effectively.There are seven parts of this thesis. In the beginning, it introduces the background, meaning and theory of informatization management of floating population, and includes literature review. Then, it will figure out the problems of classical way by researching informatization management of floating population.
