无忧PPT整理发布 Merry Christmas Christmas around the World How the World Celebrates Christmas Something about Christmas You Should Know Christmas Greetings Cheat List Christmas Chart Toppers Christmas around the World How the World Celebrates Christmas Most of the world celebrate this festive season with gift-giving, well-wishes and very often - a whole lot of good food. However, we dont all celebrate the same way and some of our friends in different parts of the world have very unique Christmas traditions. Australia Christmas in the Southern Hemisphere where its summer in December, means no snow or log fires for our Australian friends. School is out and its time to party! Instead of a huge Christmas dinner indoors, Australians gather with friends and family at the beach, park and even in their own backyards for a feast around the barbeque pit. Australians drink champagne instead of eggnog and eat pavlova instead of plum pudding. Building snowmen is impossible, so they build them out of sand! Even Santa Claus is pictured arriving on a surfboard. . Germany Christmas comes early for folks in Germany. On the night of December 5th or 6th, Children leave their shoes or boots outside their doors and at night, Santa Claus fills them up with yummy candy if theyve been good or bundles of twigs if theyve been bad. Mexico Mexicans celebrate Christmas as a religious holiday and as a buildup to Christmas, the Mexicans have a tradition called La Posada, which commemorates Joseph and Marys journey from Nazareth to Bethlehem. And at midnight, people celebrate with fireworks, ringing bells and whistles. Sadly, unlike the Germans, children dont g et gifts until January 6th! America For millions of Americans, the most wonderful day of the year is December 25-- Christmas. For one thing, it marks the end of the most busy time of year. Many people need a rest after weeks of buying gifts, going to parties, organizing travel and getting their homes ready for the holiday.
